My meeting ended but the recording isn't there yet

Processing time, retention rules, where to look.

Recordings normally appear within 2–5 minutes of the meeting ending; long recordings can take 15+ minutes to stitch. Go to Recordings and look for a row marked Processing — it'll flip to Ready when done.

If a recording doesn't appear after 30 minutes, check that the host actually pressed Record. Cloud recording is opt-in per meeting — leaving the meeting before stopping it manually is fine, but never starting a recording at all means there's nothing to find.

Retention: recordings are kept for the lifetime of your subscription unless your org admin set a retention policy in Org settings → Data & privacy. Check there if older recordings have disappeared.
